I’m getting tired

I’m getting tired of the lies that society has inflicted upon me, acting like they know who I am when they don’t know a damn thing. I’m tired of people thinking they have the right to make permanent assumptions without ever verifying the truth of them. I’m tired of people being so blind that they believe everything that they read or hear. I’m tired of people putting all of their faith into authority as if they are God and forget that we are human and make mistakes too. I feel like as I get older that nobody has truly grown up and we pretend we are better than everyone else just because we’re not children anymore. Disgusting, selfish, and ignorant are the only words I have for people like that. One thing I can never understand is what drives people to hurt innocent people, but the thing that drives most of us is the things that happen to us. We hurt innocent people because they suffer the most. Guilty people often remain unpunished because hurting them doesn’t cause any suffering. They know what they did wrong, but it’s time to strike back at all of the ones who don’t even get a slap on the wrist. They deserve punishment because no amount of reform or restructuring of their minds will ever get them to feel remorse for what they’ve done and all of the damage the caused to others. Though there are the ones who “plead and pray” for mercy once they get the taste of their own medicine, they still don’t care about the things they’ve done. They only care about themselves. People like that don’t and will never change because they enjoy bringing and inflicting pain on others, especially those who do not deserve it. It is a…
